The dongle is the authorization tool for NovaStar calibration software: it plugs into a USB port on the calibration computer and is paired with a dedicated authorization file. In NovaCLB, each dongle corresponds to one file, imported only once; several files can be loaded to switch from one dongle to another without re-importing. It is the only part of the calibration system supplied directly by NovaStar, the rest of the hardware being the customer's responsibility.
